Building a new early-stage investment platform for the City of London.
Rosary Capital is being developed with a simple ambition: to help promising fintech and technology companies build stronger connections with the capital, customers and expertise concentrated within the City of London.
We are currently progressing the legal, regulatory and operational work required before any investment activity begins.
No fund, syndicate, pooled arrangement or other investment opportunity is currently being offered through Rosary Capital or this website.

01 / The idea
Helping more early-stage companies build their future in the City.
The City of London has an extraordinary concentration of financial institutions, professional expertise, international connections and capital. For an early-stage company, however, accessing that ecosystem can be difficult. Rosary Capital is being developed to help bridge that gap.
Our intention is to bring together founders, established City businesses, experienced advisers and, once the appropriate structure is in place, early-stage capital. The objective is not simply to help companies begin in London. It is to give promising businesses more reasons to build, grow and remain here.
- Attract
- Encourage promising founders, technology businesses and international companies to consider London as a base for growth.
- Connect
- Build practical relationships between early-stage companies and the financial institutions, professional firms, technology businesses and experienced people within the City.
- Retain
- Help create an environment in which successful companies can find the customers, talent, expertise and capital required to continue growing in London.
02 / What we are building
Capital will be one part of the proposition.
Once the appropriate legal and regulatory arrangements are in place, Rosary Capital intends to focus on early-stage businesses where access to the City can be as important as access to capital. Our proposed model combines four elements.
- Future capital
- A proposed inception-to-pre-seed investment strategy, subject to completion of the necessary legal and regulatory processes.
- Commercial connections
- Relationships with businesses and institutions that can help founders understand markets, test propositions and build customers.
- Expertise
- Access to people with experience across financial services, technology, business building, professional services and international markets.
- London presence
- Helping founders understand how the City of London can become part of their long-term growth strategy.
03 / Proposed focus
The companies we hope to support.
Our proposed focus is on technology businesses capable of addressing important commercial problems within financial and professional services and related markets. Areas of particular interest include:
- Fintech
- Payments
- Regtech
- Insurtech
- Wealthtech
- Financial infrastructure
- Cybersecurity
- Data and artificial intelligence
- Enterprise technology
- Technology serving regulated industries
We are particularly interested in founders building from the UK and international companies considering a meaningful UK presence.
This describes Rosary Capital's intended future direction. It does not constitute an offer or commitment to provide investment.
04 / The City
A better connection between innovation and institution.
The City does not lack innovative businesses. Nor does it lack established institutions looking for better technology. The opportunity is to make it easier for the two to work together.
Rosary Capital is developing relationships across the City and wider London business community with the intention of helping early-stage companies better understand institutional customers, procurement, regulation and commercial decision-making. Organisations and individuals interested in contributing to that network are welcome to get in touch.
05 / For founders
Building something that could benefit from the City?
We would like to hear from founders working in the areas we are exploring. Rosary Capital is not currently making investments and submitting information does not constitute an application for funding.
However, founders may introduce their businesses now so that we can understand what is being built and keep in contact as Rosary Capital develops.
06 / Keep in touch
